FRIEDA is proud to present the work from textile artist/designer Heather Ujiie (http://www.heatherujiie.com) in a large scale textile installation and workshop.

Ms. Ujiie takes the spectator on a journey through time, cultures and themes. Her designs and creations combine traditional techniques with modern processes. Heather Ujiie is fascinated by the dichotomies within the human condition and nature, and says: "I hope my digitally printed installations ignite deep spiritual forays into the imagination, and generate personal reflection on what is hidden, whether it be our own personal demons, or our lust for life."

The Exposition Ninja Warrior Face-off! takes the spectator through a Timeshift that creates a large-scale allegorical narrative utilizing both analog and digital technology. The FRIEDA space will provide great conversation around the concept of Timeshift, since the old and the new will cohabit ate together

A textile workshop will take place for all interested in the creation and process of textile design. The attendees will produce unique one of a kind digitally printed design.
